Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account Information: Email address, password (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
Conversation Data: Messages you send to our AI assistant and the responses generated
Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

Information We Collect Automatically

IP address, browser type, device type
Pages visited and features used
We use Google Analytics for anonymized usage statistics

Information from Connected Services

When you connect third-party services (Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, etc.), we access your data via their APIs to provide our Services. We store encrypted OAuth tokens and conversation history. We do not permanently store raw copies of your emails or documents.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Services
To process your requests and generate AI responses
To connect to your third-party accounts when you request it
To improve our Services and fix issues

What We Never Do

Never train AI on your data. Your conversations are never used to train AI models. OpenAI and Anthropic contractually prohibit training on customer data.
Never sell your data. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Never send marketing emails. We only send essential service communications.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only with service providers necessary to operate our Services:

Supabase - Database and authentication
Stripe - Payment processing
OpenAI / Anthropic - AI processing
Google Analytics - Usage statistics

All providers are bound by data protection agreements. We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Data Security

Encryption at rest: AES-256 via Supabase
Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2+
Passwords: Hashed with bcrypt

No system is 100% secure. We implement industry-standard measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.

We retain billing records for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law.

Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

Access your personal information
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and data
Withdraw consent at any time
File a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

International Transfers

Concurrent is based in Canada. Our infrastructure is primarily located in the United States. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.

We currently serve users in Canada and the United States. We do not actively serve EU residents.

Children's Privacy

Concurrent is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
