1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Concurrent's AI assistant service ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Concurrent provides an AI-powered personal assistant that connects to your apps and helps you manage tasks, information, and workflows. Our Services include:

AI chat assistant powered by OpenAI and Anthropic
Integrations with third-party services (Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, etc.)
Task automation and workflow management
File and document processing

3. Account Registration and Security

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You must not be located in a sanctioned country or region.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Beta Status

Concurrent is currently in beta. The Services are pre-release software under active development. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable without notice. We make no guarantees about uptime or reliability.

If we shut down the Services, we will provide at least 30 days notice, a data export tool, and pro-rated refunds for paid subscriptions.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use our Services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the Services for medical, legal, or financial decisions without professional verification
Store or process protected health information (PHI) or payment card data
Input personal information about children under 13
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use the Services to violate any laws or infringe intellectual property rights

6. AI Limitations

Concurrent uses AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic. AI can make mistakes, hallucinate facts, and produce inconsistent results. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI output before relying on it. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

7. Data and Privacy

Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Services and all AI-generated output.

No Training: We never use your conversations to train AI models. Your data is your data.

Privacy Policy: Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services, we access your data via their APIs to provide our Services. We cannot rollback actions taken in external apps (Gmail, Slack, Notion, etc.). Use automations at your own risk.

9. Payment

Free Tier: $0/month with limited AI usage.

Pro Tier: $29 USD/month with higher limits and credit purchases.

Payments are processed by Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except for billing errors, fraud, or service shutdown.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "AS-IS" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@tryconcurrent.ai. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or non-payment.

12. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Arbitration: Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada, conducted in Ontario or by videoconference.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a class action. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing support@tryconcurrent.ai.

13. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ConcurrentAI Inc.

Modifications: We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.
